Hurricanes, floods, turmoil, shootings, fear, confusion, and on and on and on…
It’s a fact of life that there is a cacophony of “things” that flood our existence and compete for space in the limited capacity we have to focus our hearts and minds on anything!
Life is turbulent at times, without question, and it is necessary for us to deal with the myriad of responsibilities, needs, and ministries around us. But let me encourage you to not forget to pause in the daily grind and “set your minds on things that are above…: to “seek Christ”. If Jesus is our focus, the whirling and blurred realities all around us will begin to slow down and become more clearly manageable. Christ is the “lens” through which our world can be seen in focus!
Set your mind above… be blessed… do good… and know that you are loved!
