I Corinthians 2:9
9 “However, it is written: “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man
imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”.”
While joining David and Judy and others yesterday, as we celebrated Ms. Odessa’s life, I
was reminded again that this world is not our home!
Someday, this world will end. All the troubles and toils, all the dissent and discord, all
the woes and worries….it will end. And whether it be by our own deaths or by the
second coming of our Lord and Savior, it will still end.
Now we can sit and lament about this, or we can be busy spreading God’s love to
everyone we know!
No matter who you are, no matter how much money you have or how little of it you
have, no matter what your race or nationality, or political viewpoint… God’s love is open
to everyone! And… Jesus already paid for it so for us, it is free. Free to bask in His
Love…AND free to give it away!
This world will end. That’s a fact, but while we are here let’s make sure we do our best
to spread His love to everyone and everywhere! And when it does end? We will be in a
place that no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and that no heart can even imagine.
Oh yes, this world will end. But there’s a place where I can go when it does. And you
can too!
